Nitro Circus' Ryan Bean Sends a 100FT Double Gainer Off an Alaskan Iceberg

Teaming up with Nitro Circus, Ryan Bean traveled to Alaska’s Knik River Valley to throw a double gainer from more than 100 feet off an iceberg, plunging into glacier water below 40°F.

The remote location required a helicopter to get Ryan onto the iceberg and a boat waiting below to retrieve him after the jump. In the water, conditions were just as intense. The glacier runoff was so murky that the scuba extraction team could only see about one foot in front of them underwater.

From the height of the drop to the freezing water and limited visibility below, there was little room for error.
