HBO’s acclaimed REAL SPORTS WITH BRYANT GUMBEL profiles Nitro Circus legend Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham, and also features an interview with the ringmaster himself, Travis Pastrana, in an all-new episode premiering tonight at 10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT.
The episode debuts on HBO and is available to stream on HBO Max.
“Real Sports” will detail how Wheelz, the godfather of extreme wheelchair sports, has found freedom jumping, flipping, and crashing both in competition and at Nitro Circus shows worldwide. Born with spina bifida and given up for adoption as an infant, Wheelz has used his challenges as fuel to reach new heights while inspiring others along the way. Correspondent Mary Carillo reports.
