FMX BEST TRICK
FEEL THE THRILL
An original Nitro World Games event, FMX Best Trick has given us some of the most thrilling moments in Nitro World Games history. The event calls upon athletes to look fear in the face and hit some of the biggest ramps ever built. The size of the ramps and landers is tailor-made to push progression, and World's First are the norm, rather than the exception.
In 2016, the competition kicked off with Gregg Duffy landing the World's First double frontflip. In 2017, the excitement continued with Harry Bink’s World's First frontflip. In 2018, Pat Bowden took home first place with an enormous look back Christ air backflip. Pat repeated atop the podium again in 2019 and has now made the podium in this event every year since it started. He is the rider to beat in contests to come. That said, Josh Sheehan has made the podium three out of four times since 2016, including two second-place finishes. Though he has yet to take home the top prize in this event, he’s always a threat to do so.

IT DOESN'T GET BIGGER THAN THIS
An event featured in the first two years of Nitro World Games, Freestyle Motocross brought out the biggest names in motorsport. Judged on skill and difficulty, only 8 competitors will make it to the final, where they have potential for 7 consecutive tricks which must consist of all specified trick categories. The anticipation and excitement is always high amongst the FMX competitors.
The first two years of Nitro World Games saw a stacked field of competitors with the likes of Levi Sherwood, Taka Higashino, Thomas Pages and Clinton Moore. Levi Sherwood holds the title of back to back FMX Champion with Josh Sheehan also taking the podium both years. 2016 had Taka Higashino rounding out Third while Javier Villegas held down Second place in 2017. Making its return to Nitro World Games after a five-year hiatus, FMX is sure to be a fan favorite. With the levels of progression in both ramp technology and trick lists, 2022 Freestyle Motocross will surpass all expectations in Action Sports.
